Join us for a program exploring the impact domestic violence can have on the workplace and the ways employers can support and help employees who are dealing with domestic violence situations.
In this seminar, Jessica Teperow from the Waltham non-profit REACH will provide an overview of what employers can do to make sure survivors of domestic violence know they are not alone and that help is available. Covered topics will include: MA Chapter 260 An Act Relative to Domestic Violence which includes significant changes to domestic violence law, including provisions for time off for employees dealing with the effects of abuse; how to access resources for trainings, support and consultation for creating and updating polices, as well as additional resources available to companies to REACH beyond domestic violence.
This program is presented by the Needham Domestic Violence Action Committee to support domestic violence awareness and prevention in our communities.
