  • About

The Echo Bridge Railing Committee was formed in 2016 to help build public awareness for this iconic landmark linking Newton and Needham since 1876. Our goal is to put Echo Bridge back on the map as a tourist destination in West Suburban Boston. In doing so, we hope to show people the urgent need to reconstruct the historic railings on Echo Bridge. We are helping the bridge owner, MWRA, raise Community Preservation Committee funds in both Newton and Needham and are conducting a private fundraising drive (65% toward our goal).

Please visit our website at www.EchoBridgeRailings.com for more information on the project and consider making a corporate or individual pledge.
