LINX Dance students in 1st – 5th grade, adorned with face stickers and bows, enjoyed performing 5 short dances at Sprague Elementary School’s Cookie Walk on December 8th in the school’s gymnasium. Proceeds from the event benefit the school.
The same groups of LINX dancers performed at the Bates Pumpkin Fair last month. “We love performing at community events like the Sprague Cookie Walk and the Bates Pumpkin Fair because so many of our dancers attend those schools and we love to support our dancers. It’s a great opportunity for dancers to perform for their classmates and peers. The girls did such a great job this year and I was so proud of all the hard work that went into these dancers,” said LINX Dance Director Heather Emley. LINX Dance has performed at the cookie walk for at least 5 years.
The 47 dancers practiced and learned their routines within a few short weeks, with two of the dances choreographed by members of LINX’s Elite Company, who serve as teaching assistants for those classes.
LINX Dance Studio offers recreational and competitive programs, including private lessons, on weekdays and weekends for children of all abilities in preschool through high school.
