Needham Community Farm Gardening Classes

Needham Community Farm (NCF) is now enrolling for our 2023 Gardening Classes! Choose from two great options:

Beginner Class: Get your hands in the dirt and experience the joy of growing your own vegetables! The Beginner Gardening Class is designed for individuals and/or families - with little to no previous gardening experience - interested in learning about the wonders of sustainable, organic gardening in a supportive, hands-on and community-based environment. Supplies such as seeds, seedlings, fertilizer, gloves, hand tools, & sunshine are provided. Classes run April 10th through July 24th.

 Intermediate Class: This class is designed for individuals with previous gardening experience, including those who have taken at least one NCF class, have a background in personal gardening, or have taken classes elsewhere. Ideal for participants who feel comfortable with the basics but would benefit from advanced instruction and individualized advice. Featuring guest instructors for two classes from NOFA (Northeast Organic Farming Association) to teach about the soil food web and nutrient cycling! Supplies such as seeds and seedlings, fertilizer, gloves, hand tools, & sunshine will be provided. Classes run April 12th through July 26th.
