About Us

At Historic Newton, we believe that through the lessons of history, children and adults alike can better understand the world today. Our museums and programs inspire discovery and engagement by illuminating our community’s stories within the context of American history. We operate the Jackson Homestead and the Durant-Kenrick House and Grounds, and oversee Newton's historic burying grounds. Our programs include lectures, walking tours, workshops, and educational programs for all ages.
