About Us

A few years ago, we realized that our customers' demand for organic, regionally grown vegetables would soon exceed our supply. To encourage more of our conventional growers to transition acreage to organics, we started our own Wegmans Organic Farm. We operate our farm to develop and share best practices with our customers and partner-growers. We continually work with grow the best-tasting varieties and extend growing seasons, making local farms more economically sustainable.
